Let’s keep talking at Rancho Sierra Golf Course.
I had an issue the other day with a group of golfers who I felt were misbehaving on the course. One of the golfers and I had a lengthy discussion in which we ultimately agreed the problem was due to a misunderstanding.
That interaction however, was very valuable. I appreciate that the golfer took the time to talk to me and clarify his position. As I spend more time at the course, I learn more about what type of course I want to own, as well as what type of a business owner I want to be. More on that in a following blog post.
A couple of weeks ago, I spoke to a member of the Rancho Sierra Mens’ Club, who told me some people are scared to talk to me. I realize I suffer from bitchy resting face!!, but that’s a malady that presents itself only when I’m deep in thought.
I end every newsletter post with ‘please let us know if there is anything we can do to help improve your experience at Rancho Sierra.’ I honestly mean those words – I can’t promise to follow through on your suggestions, but I welcome the discussion. If I choose not to implement your suggestion, I hope we can have the discussion so you understand why.
