Welcome!

Hi everyone,

The last few weeks have been great for golfing – hope you’ve been able to get in a round or two, or three or four…  In anticipation of the changing season, we have new jackets and windshirts at both Rancho Sierra and Desert Aire.  Let us know if you are looking for something in particular and we’ll do our best to stock it for you.

Hope you were able to join us for our first football viewing party with the Rams vs the Steelers.  Fantastic food and great camaraderie.  Thanks Dave, for your hard work.  We hope to hold more of these events in the future.

Thanks to all who have reached out with questions/comments.  Please continue to do so by sending us feedback via your digital receipt.

Thank you for your support!  And please let us know if there is anything we can do to help improve your golfing experience.

Tips from Our Pro

What’s New and Exciting?

I get this question asked quite often:  “I’m short on time…What’s an effective drill that will help me get prepared quickly before my round?”

The easiest way to get loosened up plus get in a quick range session is to practice club/swing positions or progressions. Here we go:

Position 1 – Shaft parallel to the ground club toe pointing up.

Position 2 – Form an L with your arm and the shaft of the club – Grip points to the ball.

Position 3 – Bump your lead hip and pull down with your lead arm in that sequence. Shaft returns back to parallel to the ground.

Position 4 – Impact position should look like a lower case y.

Position 5 – Go shake hands with the target…Shaft parallel to the ground – Club toe up.

Position 6 – Full finish with club laying across your shoulders and coming out of your peripheral vision. (Belt buckle pointing at your target!)

Always a great idea to practice the release over and over because good things happen when we finish our swing!!! These movements or rehearsals of the 6 positions should activate your golf muscles plus give you a keen idea of where your club head is at during the swing and make for a great day on the course…And who doesn’t like that?
